Jelly beans are tricky little things. You can't just knock em back like you do other small candies, no, there's a process that must be done. Failure to follow this process will result in an unpleasurable jelly bean eating.
I was never one for Jelly Beans as a kid. Probably stemming from an overdose of the stuff at some point that gave me a horrible stomach ache. However recently I discovered a large bucket of them, so I ate them, as one would do normally with Jelly Beans. I discovered right off that dropping a pile of the colorful candies lead me to have mixed feelings half the time. A cinnamon or -shudder- earwax flavored one would be in the mix and ruin the entire mouthful, making it a chore to chew and swallow. Whoever created such a flavor as earwax should be maimed, shot, revived, and shot again, until I see fit. Even more so when the earwax flavored bean is so similarly colored to the peanut butter one. Completely ruined my pbj mouthful.
How do you eat your beans?

If my memory serves me correctly, jelly beans and Jelly Bellies are two different things. Jelly beans are the gross confections you'd find in the bottom of your easter basket that nobody actually ate. Jelly Bellies on the other hand are actually nummy. I don't have any set pattern for eating them, my favourite is buttered popcorn!
