Forum Rules: Ya gotta have 'em!
OK...here's the gist. This is a PG site, I don't care who you are, straight, gay, bi, yuri, yaoi....writing about relationships or romance is quite alright. I just don't want to know what the characters are doing in the bedroom, back of the car, etc. So keep it PG please!
Second, please refrain from foul language. How lucky - this forum has censors! I understand some "words" are added to your works for dramatic emphasis, unfortunately for you, many of these words will end up looking like this ****. Also, be respectful of those who hold deity in high esteem (including your administrator), saying "God" or "Jesus" repeatedly when not describing the actual being can be rather offensive. I guess this applies to any form of a "higher power", whether it be Christian, Jewish, Buddist, Atheist, Agnostic, Druid, Pagan, Creatures of the "Is", etc. Just have some respect and tact.
Third, be respectful of other's works. Sometimes it is quite the act of courage to post here. Encouragement is always encouraged, if you must give constructive critisism, keep it positive.
Fourth (new) - no offense to anyone whose been here a while, if you have lots and lots of poems, don't post them all all at once. Post one or two a day to give other members a chance to really read it and be more able to comment. Pace yourself!
Duh - no spaming, flaming, and uck, no bumping. Emo is discouraged, but if you feel blue and need to vent, try and make it creative. Putting your feelings into prose might be more theraputic rather than just saying "life sucks".
Ok! If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.
Keep your arms and legs inside and thank you for coming to "Space Inc. Writer's Forum". Have fun.
