Celebrating Light
Deep in the folds of winter Tucked in the year's longest nights The promise of the Solstice arrives As we celebrate The light
Light streams from roofs of neighbor's homes From evergreens, candles, and snow From sun and moon And starry skies And an open fire's glow
Light shone from a manger And from a star in the sky Angelic light once came to sing Over a newborn's cry
Light shines around us now, and all year We celebrate it's grace As we remember LIght basically comes All from the same place
