Hey everyone, I know it's been a while, but I've been sort of busy getting ready for school, and I'm about to move too, and I had to get my permit...~sigh~ but now I have some free time.
Anyway, today in my DRI (Dramatic Reading & Interpretation) class, we had to read something in front of the class, and then explain why we picked it, so on so forth.
Well, I choose "How to break a heart" by Emilie Autumn. It had a darker theme then the poems and books others had chosen. Well, I got up in front of the class and read it.
"How to break a heart. It is not difficult, Anyone can do it. So could you, if you tried. Just find a light and switch it off. As easy as blinking. Thats what I was taught When I was to young to ask By ladies in white nightgowns And dripping weeds and black ribbons A girls best friend is a small handgun. The question was useless, For I could have said yes, But you've got to ask my army And they're not inclined to grant favors just now."
Well, after I was done, the room was very quiet, but then everyone started clapping really hard and saying how great a job I did and how creepy and scary it was to watch me read it and hear the way I said things.
The teacher, Mrs. Conners, told me that I had a beautiful voice, and that I put great emotion into reading, and that she'd really love to work with me more.
I was so happy, I nearly screamed!
~squeeeee!~
Anyway, thats all.
Love, Midnight Fairytale

midnightfairytale.....good to see you make a rare appearance! I understand getting ready for school and all, Roxie is trying to adjust getting up at 6:00am as apposed to noon. ;D I remember meeting you, I'd imagine you'd have a good reading voice. It's quiet here for now...everyone is adjusting to the new school year.

Yes, my appearances are often rare, but it's not on purpose. I get tied up in other things, and mostly I'll just block everything else out until I'm finished with it.
Ugh, I have to get up at 5:30, which is hard because I normally go to sleep at about 3:30~4:00. I'm tired for most of the day, and then I sleep when I get home, and stay up all night again. I'm such a bad child when it comes to sleeping.
School is great this year though. I've got Honors English III, DRI, Dance, Child Development, and then next semester I'm going to have psychology!
Squee, never thought I'd be so happy to finally be back to school.
Also, they feed my caffeine addiction. They sell coffee for 50 cents, and cappuccinos, either smores or French vanilla, for a dollar. Hmmm...coffee.

I had to ask because it seems rare around here for a high school to actually have dance classes. I was in the Dance Club when I was in high school...I think modern dance has probably changed a lot since then. By the way, I've never known a dance teacher that wasn't "nuts". Or a b****. I learned a lot from them, but man, you had to put up with a lot of mood swings. But if they were nice, they seemed to lack in talent. Go figure.

Oh, I suppose Mrs. Hoffman (She used to be Ms Ruble. Go figure) has a lot of talent in the art of dance, but she's sexist, and that's painfully obvious. She only busts me for stuff, simply because I'm the only boy in the class, and I even have proof of it. She told me, second day I was in there, that she could tell I was talking simply because my voice had a lower pitch then the girls. Even though everyone else was talking, which she knew, she busts me simply because I'm the boy. Plus, she needs to learn to wear a friggin' bra when she goes to school. I mean seriously...

Ah...the dancer who doesn't wear a bra. That may fly in a ballet company, but high school??
Have you done much dancing besides what you learned in school? Sorry I'm asking so much about dance, I love dancing but don't get to talk about it much. By the way, is Biology better than the psycho dance teacher?
